Huddersfield Town are back in championship action on Saturday after the international break – and it’s with the big derby against Sheffield Wednesday.

It’s a 12.15pm kick-off against the Owls and Chris Powell’s men will be eager to get back to winning ways after two narrow defeats, both away to quality opposition in the form of Derby and Fulham.

In what is sure to be frenetic stuff, it’s a fixture that whets the appetite for both sets of fans, and Town will be looking to avenge last season’s 2-0 home defeat when Jeremy Helan and Jacques Maghoma scored for the visitors.

So, Town fans, turn up in numbers, make some noise and back the lads to victory!

HTSA are also calling on Town fans to turn up in numbers and back the team for the Roses derby when we travel the short distance to Bolton on November 29 (HTSA travel details to follow).

The number of supporters who turned up at Fulham was unbelievable for such a long trip and the noise generated from the 2,700 Blue and White army was electric.

So the message once again is loud and clear: Your support can be the 12th man so get to Bolton and cheer the lads to victory!

Meanwhile, HTSA has agreed to donate £100 to the Isaac Nash Trust and also to become a dedicated charity partner.

We are also selling Isaac Nash wristbands for £1 each to help the cause - so if fans can help out by purchasing them we would be most grateful.

They can be bought at the cabin before home matches.

As most fans that travel with us to away games will be aware, HTSA run a free draw competition. However we’d like to advise that in order to claim a prize, the winner of any draw can only be successful if they are a paid up member of HTSA and are actually on the coach.

Next up away is Bolton at the Macron Stadium on Saturday, November 29.

The price is £10 for members and £12 for non members. with departure time 12.15pm from the stadium for a 3pm kick off. To book your seat on the coach call or text the travel line on 07905 580784.

HTSA are pleased to welcome a new ‘International’ member.

Kasper Eriksen from Denmark watched Town play Peterborough some years ago, and his sympathy for the Terriers appeared to grow.

Some weeks later, Kasper’s sister got a Terrier which was his ‘sign’ to support Huddersfield Town. Welcome aboard Kasper.

Just a reminder the next Heavy Woollen meeting is on Monday, December 1, at Millbridge WMC, Bennett Street, Liversedge, when the guest is our Academy Manager Mark Lillis.
