HTSA has two messages today with a single theme: Burnley, here we come!

Some Town fans will be getting to Burnley the hard way, by walking there!

Debbie Mallinson has organised a charity walk to support Town’s partner, Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

There are 16 walkers and a support vehicle. It’s 28 miles in total which will take roughly nine hours.

The plan is to leave from the John Smith’s Stadium at 4.30am, stopping at Hebden Bridge for breakfast half way, then onto Turf Moor, Burnley, in time for kick off.

Anyone wishing to support the cause can do so via the link: https://www.justgiving.com/Debbie-Mallinson

For those less energetically disposed, the HTSA coach will be leaving from the same spot at 12.15, priced at only £10 for members.

As usual, places can be booked at the HTSA cabin this Saturday or by contacting our Travel line on 07905 580784.

However, places are limited because arrangements have been made to bring a dozen walkers back from Burnley, so early booking is advised if you want to be aboard the Town bandwagon as it begins to roll.

As a further incentive, you are reminded that HTSA runs TWO free draws. In addition to the one detailed later, anyone with current membership and on an HTSA coach stands to win £250 – or £125 or £62.50. Yes, three chances.

If the winning numbers rolled on the coach aren’t claimed there and then, a second roll is made and then a third. Roll up, roll up, roll up!

And so to today’s Free Draw number 24435 is also worth £250. If this is one of the three numbers printed on your HTSA membership card send details of your full name and postal address by text to 07725 036109 or by email to trevwhitehead@virginmedia.com before 19.08 tomorrow, Friday October 23.

You will receive your £250 cheque by return of post. The winning number last week was 62465 and was worth £250. The holder of the winning number, B Grainger, did not claim the prize.

Thirty five memberships are due to expire before the end of the year. Make sure that your membership doesn’t expire before your number comes up.

In any case, HTSA is the voice of the fans and your membership helps to make that a loud and clear voice.
