Huddersfield Town fans flocked back to the John Smith's Stadium for Chris Powell's first game in charge.

Almost 18,000 tickets, including 3514 to Middlesbrough, were sold and the stands were packed as the new manager took charge of his first game.

The match ended up a 2-1 loss to Aitor Karanka's Boro who scored first before Jon Stead levelled for Town.

The north east side took all three points courtesy of a Grant Leadbitter penalty.
