Huddersfield Town’s FA Youth Cup third-round tie against Chelsea will take place at Aldershot on Wednesday, December 16 (7.05).

It’s the second season running they have been drawn against the Blues, who have reached the last four finals and won three of them.

Town were beaten 6-1 by Chelsea at Aldershot in the fourth round last season after a 2-0 home win over Crystal Palace in round three.

The young Blues are currently top of the Under 18 Premier League South section and won 7-2 at Southampton last time out.

Town are unbeaten in four in the Professional Development League II and seek a third win running in their next game at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, December 5.

They were due to host Coventry City on Saturday but be game was called off because the Sky Blues have a Youth Cup second-round tie this week.

Elsewhere in round two, Ilkeston Town will host Newcastle United after a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Shrewsbury Town.

Sunderland also make a trip to the same region as they face Mansfield Town.

Non-league Metropolitan Police earned a trip to Burnley following a penalty shoot-out win at Yeovil Town.

Last season’s beaten finalists Manchester City head to Portsmouth.
