It's FA Cup time for Huddersfield Town Ladies as well as David Wagner’s Championship side this weekend.

Bradford City is the derby destination for Sunday’s second-round showdown (1.00).

Town were due to play at Bradford in an FA Women’s Premier League North Division match last Sunday, but it was postponed.

City are in seventh place and Town ninth.

Town’s second string also suffered the frustration of a postponement.

Their FAWPL Reserves Northern Division clash with Stockport County Reserves fell victim to a waterlogged pitch at Shelley.

Town are due to play host to Newcastle United Reserves on Sunday (2.00).

Town’s academy side are at home to Worksop Town Juniors in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women’s League Third Division on Sunday (2.00).

The Under 14s have a Sheffield and Hallamshire Girls League clash at home to Bawtry Juniors on Saturday (10.30).

The Under 12s kicked off the year with a 5-5 draw against Barnsley Ladies at Shelley.

Barnsley, who had only seven players, made light of being two down as they started the better.

Isobella Kington’s opener for Town was against the run of play.

The visitors levelled but Milley Rumnie restored he home lead and two more in quick succession from Kington made it 4-1 to Town at half-time.

But Barnsley had been denied on a number of occasions by Town’s player of the match, keeper Keira Millward.

She was unable to prevent two goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half and Town’s confidence drained away as they were put on the back foot.

Barnsley made it 4-4 with 15 minutes left.

And while Kington scored her fourth to put Town ahead once again, Barnsley came straight back to equalise.

It took a fine late save by Millward to preserve the point.

Town don’t have a game this weekend.
