James Husband is determined to enjoy Town testing themselves against the "best side in the division" and make the most of the last two months of the Championship campaign.

The on-loan left-back is aiming for a ninth Huddersfield Town appearance at home to Burnley on Saturday.

And he’s determined to do his bit as David Wagner’s side aim to topple the leaders.

Middlesbrough player Husband helped 18th-placed Town beat Reading 3-1 on Tuesday.

Burnley were 3-2 winners at Fulham, and the 22-year-old said: “The games are coming thick and fast.

“But that’s common place in this division, so we know what’s needed in terms of rest and preparation.”

Husband, who was on loan at Fulham earlier this season, believes Town have what it takes to beat any second-tier side.

“We have a different way of playing here, and we know we can make it work,” he added.

”It’s always good to test yourselves against the best sides in the division.

“If we put our gameplan into practice, we feel we can win any match we play in.”

On his own situation, Husband explained: “I’m here until the end of the season.

“It’s good to have that stability, and I know I can get my head down and work hard.

“I have got my head around the way the head coach likes to play, and I enjoy it.

“In my view, his system suit my attributes, and I want to help the team climb the table.”
