Huddersfield Town are being linked with a loan move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard.

The England Under 20 international has spent the first half of the season with Swindon, making 31 appearances with five goals for the League I club.

He has previously had a loan stint at Peterborough, figuring in six Championship games last season.

Pritchard, 20, has yet to make a first-team for Spurs, but impressed for them in the NextGen Series, which involved young sides from Europe's leading clubs and was closely monitored by Town manager Mark Robins.

He has already played for Swindon in this season's FA Cup, therefore ruling him out of any involvement in Saturday's home fourth-round clash with Charlton were Town to make a move.

Born in Orsett, Essex, he is contracted to Spurs until the summer of 2015.
