Huddersfield Town midfielder Radi Majewski could return to his native Poland.

The 28-year-old international has spent this season on loan to the John Smith’s Stadium club from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest.

Majewski has been unable to make his mark at Town, making only three starts and six substitute appearances.

It’s reported that Wisla Krakow want the nine-times capped player, who still under contract at the City Ground.

And Forest, who are operating under a transfer embargo for breaking Financial Fair Play rules, could be willing to do business.

Majewski has made164 appearances for the East Midlands side, scoring 19 goals, including a hat trick against Town in February 2013.

He initially signed for Forest on loan from Groclin Grodzisk in 2009.

His best spell came during Billy Davies’ first stint as manager, when he became an integral figure.

Spectacular goals against Derby and West Brom endeared him to the Forest faithful during his first season at the club, leading to a £1m move in the summer of 2010.

He then scored a memorable hat trick in a 3-0 win at Crystal Palace in March 2012 and another treble when Town were beaten 6-1.

That came shortly after he had been handed a new deal.
