TOWN have loaned striker Jimmy Spencer to League I Crawley for the rest of the season.

It's a fifth spell away from the club for the academy graduate, who has been at Northwich, Morecambe, Cheltenham and Brentford in the past.

The 21-year-old, who has made two Town appearances, could make his Crawley debut at Tranmere tomorrow.

Town boss Simon Grayson said: “Jimmy has had a few injuries this season, which was one of the reasons why the move to Brentford never really worked out.

“He has excelled over the last two seasons at League II level and we believe that he is good enough to do the same in League 1.

“The move is a brilliant opportunity at a club pushing for promotion.”
