Huddersfield Town have recalled midfielder Duane Holmes from his loan spell at League Two outfit Bury.

Holmes made seven substitute appearances for the high-flying Shakers during his two-month stay at Gigg Lane, but failed to find the net during that time or register an assist.

He only lost once in a Bury shirt, however, and was on the winning side in five games during his loan spell - which was due to last until January.

Holmes has also featured once for the Terriers this season, in the 2-0 Capital One Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest.

The American-born midfielder made 24 outings in all competitions for Town during 2013/2014 in his breakthrough campaign.
