Huddersfield Town midfielder Emyr Huws has been shortlisted for the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month award.

The on-loan Wigan Athletic player is among a dozen from which supporters can make their choice at www.skysports.com/pfafanvote ,

A panel including Paul Merson, Ian Holloway, Peter Beagrie and referees’ chief Mike Riley came up with the contenders.

The other 11 are Charlie Austin (QPR), Nick Blackman (Reading), Clayton Donaldson (Birmingham City), Ryan Fraser (Ipswich Town), Tomer Hemed (Brighton and Hove Albion), Michael Kean (Burnley), Kike (Middlesbrough), Jamie O’Hara (Fulham), Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn Rovers), Orlando Sa (Reading) and Ross Wallace (Sheffield Wednesday).

Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday.

Wales international Huws, 21, has netted four times in Town’s last three games, helping them to two wins and a draw.
