Jacob Butterfield has called on Huddersfield Town to get their away form back on track when they head to his old club Norwich City on Saturday.

Chris Powell’s side were buoyed by Saturday’s 2-1 home win over Brentford but have suffered three straight Championship defeats on the road.

However Butterfield, who spent the 2012-13 season at Carrow Road, claims at least two of those losses were undeserved.

“I wouldn’t say we got what we should have at either Fulham or Bolton,” said the 24-year-old midfielder.

“We made good chances in both games, but didn’t taken them, whereas our opponents did.

“When we took our chances at Reading and Wolves, we won. If we start converting them again, we will get wins again.

“This is such a tight division, there is very little between a lot of teams, and results come down to fine margins.

“Three points at Norwich would be a huge boost, that’s what we’re after and while Norwich have a strong squad, we are capable of beating them.

“If we can’t get three, then we certainly want one.”

Town have two other Norwich old boys in strikers Grant Holt and James Vaughan, who made his return from a calf injury against Brentford.

Boss Powell is monitoring the fitness of centre-back Joel Lynch, who missed the Brentford game with a groin problem.

Norwich are hoping striker Lewis Grabban, their close-season signing from Bournemouth, beats a groin injury of his own in time to figure.

Former Leeds United frontman Luciano Becchio is definitely out with a broken heel.

Town are 15th in the table with Norwich eighth, six points better off.
