Huddersfield Town midfielder Philip Billing made his Denmark Under 19 debut in a 2-1 win over Norway in Lyndgal.

The 18-year-old came on as a 75th-minute substitute and will be hoping for another outing in the follow-up game at the same venue tomorrow.

Billing was signed from Esjberg in 2013 and has made one Town appearance, in last season’s home Championship clash with Leicester City.

He is the first player to represent Denmark while with the club.

But compatriot and full Denmark international Karl Hansen made a big impact during 15 appearances for Town in 1949.

The inside right, who was capped 22 times, also played for Italian sides Atalanta, Juventus and Sampdoria.
