Ali Al-Habsi on Town match
The Reading keeper has spoken to the club website ahead of the Town match this weekend.
Here’s what he had to say:
There’s a great character in the dressing room now, you can see it.
It’s not easy to win two games with ten men, but the way we’re playing and the way the gaffer is giving the players confidence is showing that everyone in the team is really involved.
We need the fans now to get behind the team and help us push forward because we’ve got some really tough games coming up.
Top of the league Huddersfield on Saturday and then Brentford away and then Derby... so three big games in the space of a week.
We have faith in the way we play. We are seven games unbeaten now and we have to continue because this league season is very long.
I think the way we are playing now, the way the players are showing the manager their desire, I think we can do a good job.
It will be an interesting game on Saturday. We played Huddersfield four times last season, twice in the league and twice in the cup. We know what to expect from them, they are a team that plays good football and a team the presses and fights for 90 minutes, but we are at home and we will be ready for it.
We have to show good teamwork because we are facing a good team, but with the players and experience we have in the squad we will be giving everything to get the win.
