How did Town fare in the games last season?

Sadly, not very well at all. Leeds ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at Elland Road thanks to goals from Rodolph Austin, Mirco Antenucci and Souleymane Doukara and they completed the double with a late win at the John Smith's thanks to a Billy Sharp goal in a 2-1 success.

The home game also saw Town defender Tommy Smith suffer a nasty head injury and was airlifted off the field by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Are there any other Yorkshire derbies to whet the appetite?

Yes there are. Town travel to Sheffield Wednesday on November 21, and travel to Middlesbrough a week later.

The other Yorkshire fixtures are: Rotherham United (H - Tuesday, December 15), Sheffield Wednesday (H - Saturday, April 2), Middlesbrough (A - Tuesday, April 5), Hull City (H, Saturday, April 9) and Rotherham (A - Tuesday, April 19).

Of course, Town kick off the season with a trip to Humberside to face another Yorkshire outfit Hull City on the opening day (Saturday, August 8).
