Huddersfield Town will take part in six pre-season friendlies this summer as they prepare for the 2015/16 season, with their season opener at Hull City now just a month away.

Here’s an all-you-need-to-know guide to Town's fixtures across the next four weeks.

AFC Guiseley v Huddersfield Town

Date: Saturday, July 11.

Kick-off: 3pm

Location: Nethermoor Park, Otley Road, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 8BT.

Stadium capacity: 3,000 (500 seating)

Previous visits: Town visited Nethermoor as recently as last summer, when they emerged with a 4-1 win thanks to goals from Duane Holmes, Harry Bunn, former player Oliver Norwood and Jake Charles.

They have played the Lions in the last three successive seasons in total, securing a 2-2 draw in 2013/14 thanks to goals from Matt Crooks and Jordan Sinnott and lost 1-0 back in 2012.

Huddersfield Town v Leyton Orient

Date: Saturday, July 18.

Kick-off: 11am

Location: Neutral venue. Town will spend the week between their trip to Guiseley and the game against the League Two side at a training camp near Marbella, with the match taking place at the La Cala complex where Chris Powell's side will be based.

Stadium capacity: N/A

Previous visits: N/A. Town visited Portugal this time last year to take in matches against League One outfit Doncaster Rovers and local side Portimonense.

Grimsby Town v Huddersfield Town

Date: Tuesday, July 21.

Kick-off: 7.30pm

Location: Blundell Park, Cleethorpes, DN35 7PY.

Stadium capacity: 9,546 (all seated)

Previous visits: Town have only met the Mariners six times in all competitions since the turn of the millennium, with their most recent face-off coming in the 3-2 FA Cup third-round win at Blundell Park in January last year.

Town trailed 2-1 heading into the final few minutes, but Martin Paterson's strike and a stoppage-time own goal from Aswad Thomas sealed Town's place in the next round.

The Terriers won 3-0 in another FA Cup meeting, this time at the John Smith's Stadium, but were winless in four before that, scoring just once - in a 4-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat, as well as a 1-0 away reverse and two 0-0 stalemates.

Rochdale AFC v Huddersfield Town

Date: Saturday, July 25.

Kick-off: 3pm

Location: Spotland, Sandy Lane, Rochdale, OL11 5DR.

Stadium capacity: 10,249

Previous visits: Town have won just one of their last seven meetings with Dale, who claimed a 2-2 draw at the then Galpharm Stadium back in March 2012, while the reverse fixture - their last trip to Spotland - ended in the same scoreline.

Town's sole victory since 2000 was a 2-1 home win just over a year previously, thanks to goals from Benik Afobe and Gary Roberts.

Huddersfield Town v Deportivo de La Coruna

Date: Wednesday, July 29.

Kick-off: 7.45pm

Location: John Smith's Stadium, Stadium Way, Huddersfield, HD1 6PX.

Stadium capacity: 24,500 (all seated)

Previous meetings: None. This is the first time Town have hosted the former Champions League semi-finalists but they have played Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Barcelona B and Real Betis in recent years.

Barnsley v Huddersfield Town

Date: Saturday, August 1.

Kick-off: 3pm

Location: Oakwell, Grove Street, Barnsley, S71 1ET.

Stadium capacity: 23,009 (all seated)

Previous visits: Town's last trip to Oakwell ended with a 2-1 defeat in the early stages of the 2013/14 season, with goals from Chris O'Grady and Marcus Pedersen doing the damage, despite James Vaughan's response.

Town's record there is not bad, with that defeat just one in their last four, dating back to a 4-2 reverse at the home of the Tykes back in 2005.
