New bright yellow strip will be worn this Saturday due to colour clash
This is Huddersfield Town’s new PUMA third kit which will be worn at Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
New squad No19 Cristian Lopez is pictured in the striking yellow strip, which features the logo of Covonia – the cough medicine brand of club partners Thornton & Ross.
The kit will go on sale to fans as a limited edition of 1,000 on November 1 to raise money for the Huddersfield Town Foundation (suggested by Thornton & Ross).
Huddersfield Town commercial director Sean Jarvis explained: “Our commercial agreement with Thornton & Ross means we will wear a change strip featuring their brands in all our away games this season.
“With our kit manufacturer changing to PUMA, that brought about the need for a third kit and obviously there is a clash between our black and red second kit and the home strip of Nottingham Forest.”
