HUDDERSFIELD Town have signed highly-rated teenage striker Daniel Carr from Dulwich Hamlet

The 18-year-old has impressed on trial after also spending time at Liverpool, Leeds and Charlton.

Town have signed him to a two-year contract with the club having the option of a further year.

They have paid a "small undisclosed fee" to Dulwich.

Chelsea are among a string of clubs who enquired about him.

Carr, who has been a prolific scorer in the Ryman League this season after arriving at Dulwich as a winger, came through the ranks at Reading, only to be released.

He has bagged 24 goals for the non-league club, who also produced former England and Arsenal striker Ian Wright.

Carr will complete the season at Dulwich before linking up with Town this summer.
