The shop window is looking oh so sweet for the Terriers this January after they were linked to Kidderminster's Joe Lolley.

A tasty signing Lolley would be, his surname prompted Town fans to come up with a whole host of signings to literally make the mouth water in a Sweetshop XI- complete with ground, chairman and manager.

Hernan Crispo and Denis Burgercamp had to sit this one out as food scientists said they were too 'savoury' for the Sweetshop League.

Not to worry however as there were plenty of treats eagerly waiting to take their place.

Manager Sherbet Chapman assured fans that the Sweetshop XI would be playing fast paced, Barca style tic-tac football.

This was music to the ears of chairman David Goldbar who expected no less than promotion and victory in the Curly Wurly Cup.
