Adam Edgar is a young man in waiting.

That’s because Huddersfield Town are still awaiting international clearance to play the 17-year-old Australian striker.

There have been social media suggestions Edgar – who was in the Nike Academy – had been cleared by FIFA, but that is not yet the case.

Born in Liverpool, Edgar moved to Queensland with his family when he was 10 and came through the ranks at North Star FC and Brisbane City before joining Sunshine Coast Fire.
