Huddersfield Town striker Danny Carr is extending his loan at Fleetwood by a month.
The 19-year-old has played three times for the Highbury Stadium club since his initial loan started, but Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat by Cheltenham was his first start.
Carr will now stay with the League II club until January 26 inclusive and will be hoping to get on the scoresheet after drawing a blank both there and in three outings for Town.
Manager Graham Alexander is preparing Fleetwood for their Boxing Day derby trip to Morecambe.
Hibernian have reported the death of one of their youth team players.
The club said on their official website that 18-year-old David Paul passed away in the early hours of Sunday, with no suspicious circumstances.
Chairman Rod Petrie said of the promising midfielder: “Everyone at the club is deeply affected by this. David was a talented and promising young footballer, and a fine young man. Our thoughts – and the thoughts of the entire Hibernian community – are with his family.”
