IN-FORM Theo Robinson has more goals on his mind as Town bid to strengthen their play-off grip at Brentford.

That’s the message from Town’s performance coach Steve Black, who says the whole squad are in confident mood as they head to Griffin Park looking for a sixth win in eight away games.

Andy Scott’s side are no pushover, having not been beaten at home in League I in six months, but with a six-point Easter under their belts and Robinson on four goals from four games, Black says Town are up for the battle.

“We’ve got a game on our hands, we know that, but we’ve got a lot of confidence as well,” he said. “The lads are doing well away from home because it suits us that teams want to have a go at us, giving us spaces we can exploit.

“We need to maintain our structure, our organisation and our composure, but if we continue to do the right things we’re confident of what we can achieve.”

On 13-goal Robinson, he added: “Theo is a goalscorer, striker’s are judged on goals and he is doing very well.

“When you think of how many minutes he’s been on the pitch this season he’s got a superb record and, while he can be frustrating at times, he works really hard at all aspects of his game and he’s a really exciting talent to have.

“Theo is getting better all the time and he’s a major asset. He scored nine goals for us at the start of the season and if he keeps adding, he might just have a fantastic season and fire us to what we all want.”
