Huddersfield Town will lose their second match of the season at the weekend according to Reading expert Charles Watts.

Get Reading's Reading FC writer has been impressed with David Wagner's influence on the West Yorkshire side and sees them as a "proper team" this campaign.

Despite that however, Watts believes Reading will claim victory at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday but will lose in the reverse fixture on February 18.

Here is what he had to say about Reading, Town and the weekend clash.

How has Reading's season gone so far?

"Very well - better than most expected. This season was very much a leap into the unknown after the appointment of Jaap Stam.

"He’s come in and completely changed the style of play. It’s all about possession now. It took a while for everyone to adapt to it but in recent weeks things seemed to have clicked.

"Reading are eight in the Championship going into Saturday’s game, just five points off the top. Everyone would have snapped your hand off for that if it was offered at the start of the season."

How is Reading's form going into the match?

"Excellent, they are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions - five in the Championship.

"The last two wins, at Barnsley last Saturday and Brighton in midweek, were very impressive considering they had a man sent off before half-time in both.

"The manner of those victories have done a lot for the team spirit. Confidence and belief is very high at the moment."

What is the fans' expectation from the club this season?

"No-one was expecting much before the start of the start of the season. The main thing that most people wanted to see was signs of progress being made.

"I think that is still the same. Obviously recent good results have led to some suggesting a surprise push for the play-offs could be possible, but I think that would be asking too much in Stam’s first season."

Where do you think Reading will finish this year?

"I think anything around 10th would be a good finish.

"They have ended up 19th and 17th during the past two campaigns - which hasn’t been good enough.

"The club needed a shake-up and it got that over the summer, if they can get themselves into the top half that would be a good building block going into 2017/18."

What do you make of Huddersfield Town this year?

"Very impressive. It’s been impossible not to have been impressed by what David Wagner has done.

"There were some signs of it last season - but he seems to have really got his point across during the summer.

"Huddersfield look confident and know exactly what they are doing. They look like a proper team this season, one that is full of belief."

How many points do you expect Reading to take off Town?

"I’m going to say three. Reading will win on Saturday but Town will win up in Yorkshire."

Who do you expect to go up and who do you think will be relegated?

"Newcastle, Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday to go up - Blackburn, Rotherham and Burton."
