IT’S decision time!

Many Town fans will remember the Supporters Association took the opportunity to secure ownership of the Billy Smith memorabilia, for the benefit of this and future generations of supporters.

Dean Hoyle has now offered to buy the collection, in return for which the HTSA will contribute the funds towards one or more appropriate club projects. One such has been identified, namely the erection of a statue outside the stadium entrance.

It is the club’s intention to display the memorabilia items as effectively as possible, along with other items from Town’s illustrious history.

It is also proposed that any statue will acknowledge the contribution made by supporters, who will also be canvassed on a suitable subject, or subjects, to be commemorated.

A quick decision has been called for and the committee are keen to consult as widely as possible before a final decision is made. Therefore, please either email your thoughts to info@htsa.co.uk or text 07798 727782, ideally before the end of tomorrow, Friday.

As for more immediate footballing matters, call the HTSA Travel line on 07926 165863 to book one of the few places left on this Saturday’s coach to Bournemouth, leaving the stadium at 7.30am and priced at £16 for HTSA members.
