It was disappointment at the John Smith’s for Town as the chance to complete the double over Sheffield Wednesday went begging – but we’ll be right behind the lads against Barnsley this Saturday.

In a promising opening 25 minutes, Town created all the openings and were looking good.

But the second half was simply woeful and one of our worst performances in some time – with passes going astray, the ball going out of play and general cohesion lacking.

Now we have the chance to right those wrongs against Barnsley in another derby at the John Smith’s, and with the opportunity for Town fans to create a new ‘Cowshed’ behind the goal of the Fantastic Media Lower Stand.

The message, as always from HTSA,is loud and clear... get behind the lads and cheer them on to victory!

Following on from the ATT (All together Town) Fans’ panel meetings, the club have agreed to allow fans use of the FM Lower Stand as part of a trial to create a ‘Home End’ in an effort to improve the atmosphere at the stadium.

This is a trial this Saturday and also against Bolton on Saturday, April 5.

Existing Fantastic Media Lower Tier season card holders should note that this trial is expected to change the match day experience in that area of the ground.

They have the option to transfer to another area of the ground free of charge for this fixture.

Families are advised by the club to transfer to the FM Upper Tier family area.

If existing card holders choose to remain in the stand, their seat reservation will not apply as it’s unreserved (enter via turnstile 40).

Season card holders in other areas of the ground can use their card to gain access to the FM Lower Tier at turnstiles 41 to 43 inclusive for no charge. No advance transfers are required.

Non season card holders wishing to sit in the FM Lower Tier must buy in advance, as pay at the turnstiles will not be available for the trial. Prices are £15 adults and £10 concessions and capacity will be set at 1,750 (first come, first served and arrive early!).
