Huddersfield Town Supporters' Association: Patrons' Club relaunched

HOPEFULLY Town supporters are aware of the relaunch of the Patrons, which is now the Patrons’ Club, rather than Association – that always seemed to make people think it was some type of exclusive organisation – it isn’t.

HOPEFULLY Huddersfield Town supporters are aware of the relaunch of the Patrons, which is now the Patrons’ Club, rather than Association – that always seemed to make people think it was some type of exclusive organisation – it isn’t.

A new logo, new meetings format and more included in the package – such as a Patrons’ scarf, better draw prizes, discounts on the replica shirts and members-only emails and Facebook page. It is a fantastic deal that has taken several months of working out with the club.

One thing that hasn’t changed is the membership cost – just £12.50 per quarter. That’s less than £1 per week.

We are all now looking forward to a great season ahead with lots of optimism and high expectations.

The next meeting will be with Lee Clark on Thursday, August 5 (7.30 for 8.00 start) in the English Partnership Suite, Direct Golf Stand Level 3.

All meetings are now members only so please bring your card along.

The manager will attend this meeting, along with members of his coaching team. They will be able to fill us in on all the hard work in the closed season, with lots of comings and goings, and their thinking for the season ahead just two days before the big kick off.

Any Patrons unable to attend but who have a question they would like asking should write to info@htafcpatrons.com

As usual we plan a few trips this season. The first one is an early one with Patrons Club Travel club going to Peterborough on Saturday, August 21. Please get in touch soon to book.

Executive coach travel and a carvery lunch are on offer for just £19 and we hope to have a Town related guest for a short question and answer session.

We may be able to offer members based away from the area the chance to meet up at the lunch venue. If you are interested, call Martin Lister on 01484-714287 daytime or email travel@htafcpatrons.com with all your contact details, including your membership number. Non-Patrons will be allowed if the Coach isn’t fully booked.

If you want to be the first to meet new players and other guests from the club, have priority for away tickets, special away travel, monthly draw, Terrier newsletter and lots more now, still for less than £1 a week, then contact Marcus Garside via the Club address or by email to info@htafcpatrons.com

All Town fans planning for the trip to Notts County on Saturday week are reminded that there are still a few seats available on the HTSA coach, leaving the Galpharm at 11.30.

This is priced at only £12 for members with a £2 surcharge otherwise. If you’re not a member yet, it will be possible to join on the coach – remember it’s only £5 annually. Ring Sally on 07926 165863 to book your place or drop her an email to sally.peckett@googlemail.com
