A LOT of progress has been made in the short time that the Supporters Association has been in existence and a healthy relationship has been developed with the football club.

There was, though, an apparent breakdown in communications between the Club and the HTSA over the plans for an Annual Awards event on April 25 and it has been agreed to pursue plans for next year at the earliest opportunity with a view to organising a joint event at a reasonable price.

However, as a demonstration of continued commitment to partnership with the club, it has also been agreed to take up the table for 10 available to the HTSA as Player Sponsors.Š

A random draw has been made for four pairs of tickets to be offered to HTSA members for a discounted price of £20 each – i.e an average matchday price, which has been the general principle in previous years for the Supporters Club Player of the Year event.

The winners will be contacted as early as possible to ensure that they are able to take their places on April 25.

If you didn’t qualify for the draw this time, you can make sure next time by joining the HTSA on-line at www.htsa.co.uk or by calling in to the portacabin on match days.

And don’t forget that anyone joining now for the usual £5 becomes a member until May 2010.

Our next away trip is Scunthorpe on Good Friday (three in a row?) and the HTSA coach will leave the stadium at 5.15pm. Prices are £10 and £8 concessions. Please ring 07926 165863 to book your seat.

Finally this is a last reminder for fans to put their own questions forward tonight when the club’s directors, including chairman-elect Dean Hoyle and chief executive Nigel Clibbens, will be the guests at the Patrons’ meeting, starting at 8pm in the Fantastic Media Suite at the stadium.

This is always a popular meeting – how many other clubs’ directors meet their fans on a regular basis? – so get there early to ensure a good seat!
