A group of Huddersfield Town fans are looking to improve the match day atmosphere for all supporters – and you can join the campaign.
The group, called the ‘North Stand Loyals’, wants to enhance the match day atmosphere in the new Fantastic Media Stand lower tier ‘singing section’ by crowd-funding a number of flags and banners that will be proudly displayed behind the goal.
The campaign has already captured the imagination of fans, with over £1,000 already donated to the cause.
The group will also hold a meeting at PPG Canalside on May 24 from 1pm to discuss their plans, to which everyone is welcome. Donations to the fund are welcome too and if you want to pay via Paypal, you can access the account via snakey_b@hotmail.com.
The club is fully backing the campaign, as Robyn Deegan from the Club’s Supporter Partnerships team explained: “It’s fantastic to see the Club’s supporters take the lead in order to improve the match day atmosphere at the John Smith’s Stadium in this way.
“We created the ‘All Together Town’ initiative in order to engage with our fans to improve their experience and we believe that flags and banners can play an important role in this.
“I know that the ‘North Stand Loyals’ group want to make a massive impact for the opening Town home game of the coming 2014/15 campaign.”
Season Cards for the new Fantastic Media Stand Lower Tier ‘singing section’ are still on sale, at £289 for adults, £255 for Under 23s and £104 for Under 18s.
