HTSA were well represented at last week’s All Together Town Voices Panel meeting at PPG Canalside.

Although there were a number of items on the agenda, not surprisingly, it was ‘Attendances and Pricing’ which took up most of the discussion.

Over the last few months the club have been working really hard consulting supporters and looking at alternative business models.

Nigel Clibbens gave a summary of a recent survey of supporters and made it clear that the issues it had raised are to be addressed in the ticket prices for 2016-17.

Within the Championship, David Wagner’s tactics are certainly pioneering and despite the absence of any immediate reward it can only be a matter of time before this exciting brand of football brings results on the field and, hopefully, on the terracing.

Following on from this the club are keen to show they are forward-thinking and innovative in all aspects of business.

There is a determination to simplify the pricing structure and offer season tickets at prices more in line with the Bundesliga – great value and a colossal saving on the match by match, walk-up price.

HTSA have received an email from Professor Derek Fraser, the Independent Football Ombudsman. He is looking into our concerns about the Blackpool fixture played in May 2015.

On Tuesday, December 1, the Professor wrote to say that his report is almost finished. However, he is still waiting for a Football League response to some of his final queries and, unfortunately, these have been delayed.

The Professor assures us he will issue the report as soon as he is able.
