Huddersfield Town midfielder Jonathan Hogg looks like missing out on a third successive match against Millwall.

The 26-year-old midfielder hasn’t played since suffering a thigh injury in the 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on January 17.

He missed the win at Wigan and defeat by Leeds United, when loan signing David Edgar took the holding midfield role.

“It’s been quite a while now with Jonathan,” conceded Powell, who could give a debut run-out to striker Ishmael Miller who was drafted in on deadline day.

“We thought Hoggy would be ready for the Leeds game and if not than, then Millwall, but it looks like he’ll be missing out on that as well.”

Powell has centre-back Joel Lynch ruled out for two to three weeks, while Tommy Smith sits out this weekend following his injury against Leeds but will be able to return to training on Monday, putting him in the frame for Wolves at home on Tuesday.

Nahki Wells (foot) and goalkeeper Alex Smithies (illness) are fit and included in the squad to travel to The Den.

The Town squad will train at St George’s Park en route to London.
