Huddersfield Town Under 21s suffered a first defeat of the season as they went down 3-1 to Hull City in their Professional Development League II game at North Ferriby United.

Two late goals by the Tigers did for Frankie Bunn’s side, who had equalised through Flo Bojaj.

Both Bojaj and Duane Holmes had early chances before Hull’s Jarrod Bowen hit a post.

Conor Townsend put the home side ahead direct from a free-kick after 25 minutes.

Jake Charles, Rekeil Pyke and William Boyle all went close as Town pushed for an equaliser.

Bojaj bagged his third goal in as many games this season with five minutes to go.

But in a quickfire response, Max Clark, with a long-range strike, and Johan Ter Horst, with a deflected shot, sealed the points for Hull.

Town: Wilczynski; Senior, W Boyle, Wilkinson, Hanson; Charles (Tronstad, 66mins), Billing, Booty, D Holmes; Pyke (Coughlan, 76mins), Bojaj.
