Huddersfield Town fans have the chance to see some of the club’s best young prospects at the John Smith’s Stadium tomorrow (Tuesday, February 3).

That’s because the Under 21s host Reading in the quarter-finals of the Premier League Cup.

It’s a 1pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium, where admission prices are set at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

And Frankie Bunn’s Development Squad will face a real test of their credentials to reach the last four because Reading are holders of the trophy.

Town have already beaten Barnsley and Charlton Athletic and club chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “It will be another good test for our Under 21s because Reading are the holders of the competition.

“At that level, of course, it’s all about development of players and, of course, that takes time.

“The signs are good for us, though, and we will keep working to improve and develop and, hopefully, we will see some of these lads coming through and making appearances in our first team.”

Because of the cup-tie, today’s scheduled Under 21 Professional Development League 2 North game at Birmingham City has been postponed.
