Huddersfield Town Under 21s beat Coventry City 6-1 to record their sixth successive Professional Development League victory.

Jake Charles notched twice in the romp at PPG Canalside, where it took an own goal for Coventry to make the scoresheet.

Town’s others came from Regan Booty, Ronan Coughlan, Sondre Tronstad and Rekeil Pyke.

The win followed a 7-0 victory for the Under 18s over Hull City at Canalside on Saturday, when Pyke scored twice.

Keeper Lloyd Allinson was the only over-age player on duty for the 21s, who scored twice in quick succession late in the first half.

Booty got the first from a free-kick, then Charles made the most of good approach work by Duane Holmes .
