Fans' match reports
Sort it out, chasing, I use that loosely, shadows for 45 mins. Kev, Lindley
Totally out classed in 1st half, really dont know how it could of been 0-0 at half time we were given a football lesson. I think in transfer market next month we need a couple true quality players to see us through to the end of the season. Keep your heads up boys we need to be strong together! Andrew, Beaumont Park
Please please please can we put two halves together in one game. We are looking increasingly short of ideas, inspiration and leadership on the pitch. lets try KS as skipper and lets play players in their true positions. David, Mirfield
The 0-0 half time score must rank as one of lifes great mysteries, it was like watching professionals playing a pub team (no prizes for guessing which looked the pub team) James, Sheffield

If ever a match showed the gulf between an average Championship side and a good Championship side, this one certainly did. It was yet another game of boys against men and Town have to grow up very quickly if they are to have a chance of staying in this very competitive league. John, York
Second best all over the field, one point was daylight robbery, three would have been total travesty. If we do not do any better soon we will be in a relegation fight and not sure we would survive it! Roger, Menston
Thought after Saturday the blip was over. Still not panicking but what a difference a win would make. Dire atmosphere at the JS. Tomasz, London
The worst first half perfermance in a long time. No-one had a clue as to what to do as there was no team plan at all and general play was much too slow and defensive. Eddie, Brighouse
Playing hoof ball again. We have totally lost the ability to pass it through midfield. Southern's legs have gone; he really struggles to keep up in midfield. Norwood struggles because Southern is nowhere near him. Clayton should be in centre mid, he looks lost when playing wide right. Graham, Brighouse
I could not believe we were so outplayed in the first half and went in at 0-0. You would have thought we were playing Barcelona not Blackpool.Second half was better but it needed to be. A big improvement is required for saturday and future games. Tony, Liversedge
Enjoyed the first half panto provided by Town. It was a good thing that Blackpool were as poor at finishing as we were at the rest of the skills needed. Graham, Mirfield.
Larry played all his get out of jail cards in one match; why with two of the best strikers in the league did we resort to hoof ball. A major rethink needed in midfield, Norwood lost all form and no supply to the strikers from the wings, need to go to a conventional 4-4-2 with two wingers and quick otherwise a tense situation is just over our shoulder. Trojanhorse, Kirkburton
Town trounced 1-1. Got to rediscover the intensity we had earlier in the season. Double quick. RB, Sheffield
Take away our loan players and we've actually got a weak squad. Surely the least certain players can do is get fit? Peter, Sheffield
What's gone wrong? Things need sorting fast played far too deep backed of far too much total lack of passing and long ball to try and find Beckford instead of playing out from the back. Town have no one who can take the ball from midfield to 18yd box and create an opening. Geoff, Doncaster
Worrying lack of confidence and ability. Fail to see how Scannell makes the squad let alone the team. Paul, York
I'm still amazed we managed to get a point from this game. It could have been even better if we hadn't been so sloppy at the end. Tony, Golcar
Atkinson and wallace changed what was a game getting away from us. Nowhere near the game first half, fortunate to draw. Grayson needs to be looking over his shoulder on this performance. Damian, Dewsbury
Too much turkey it seems. The performance didn't match the pre-game hype, again ! Hoyle has plenty to think about here. Jack, Holmfirth
First half was ONE of the worst perfomances at the stadium. No ability, cohesion and worringly passion or effort. Unfortunately Grayson has to take some of the blame and it will be a battle to stay in this division on current form - I have to say (regrettably)! Steve, Lepton
The first half they could have improved but the second half was better with Gerrard scoring the goal Gemma, Newsome
No pressing. Second to the ball and lack of anticipation. B'pool lot sharper and incisive - good team. Robert, Almondbury
Despite SG's continuing calmness, quite a few supporters have hunted down the old panic button ready for use in the near future. Martin, Outlane
We were outplayed yet nearly won. Get Clayton into the centre of midfield where he is outstanding. Priority for the transfer window - a winger who can beat his defender and put in a decent cross. Russell, Calder Valley
