Huddersfield Town boss Mark Robins says he's delighted to see Scott Arfield doing well at Burnley - but he's planning to put the brakes on him tomorrow.

Town's boss let the Scottish midfielder go after three seasons with the club as he reshaped his Championship squad over the close-season.

The 25-year-old was signed by the Clarets, who visit the John Smith's Stadium for an eagerly-awaited clash, and has helped them reach the top of the table.

"Scott will come back for the first time and he'll be determined to do well," said Robins of the man who played 119 times for Town and scored nine goals.

"He's fitted in well there and I'm pleased for him, because he's a great lad and a very good professional.

"He didn't have that many opportunities after I took over as manager last season, but his attitude was excellent."

While ex-Falkirk player Arfield headed out of Town, ex-Burnley striker Martin Paterson came in, and grabbed his first goal for the club in last Saturday's 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday .

"Just like Scott, Martin will have plenty of incentive to do well," added Robins, who looks set to name an unchanged side

While Burnley have sold out their 3,600 ticket allocation, Town fans can pay at the gate, and the crowd is expected to top 17,000.

"Obviously we want to win, but we also want to entertain people who pay out hard-earned money to watch us," added Robins.

"We were a letdown in our last home game against Birmingham, but that was unusual for us, and we have to make sure that doesn't happen again."

It's the first of three game in eight days for Town, who head to Bolton on Tuesday and Ipswich a week tomorrow.
