Incompetent, shapeless, spineless dross. Wells must wonder why he signed. Robins only defence is that he signed only 2 of the starting team, but even this demonstrates how poor his own signings have been, with the exception of Wells. Paul, Shipley

No leadership on the field - goalkeeper as captain? Some players hiding from the ball, eg Gobern - doesn't seem to want the ball. Everyone wants to hold the ball too long - there is no pace or incisive passing. Manager needs to spell it out to some of them that they are not part of his plans, because 50% of them are not good enough for a mid table side. Dick, Waterloo

Another bad peformance. How much longer will it go on? Chris, Golcar

Character, pride, commitment, success and respect - these are some of the club's values that were clearly not on show! How are the recent displays by the overpaid underachievers meant to draw in a new generation of young fans? Kevin, Lindley

Can see what the manager's trying to do but it's difficult when the midfield aren't staying disciplined and consequently the defence don't get any respite. William, Huddersfield

Poor performance, seems they are trying hard to give the fans some excitement at the wrong end of the table. If you looked at Ipswich they looked very professional, subs warmed up correctly at half time unlike Town subs looked like a set of Sunday league players. Also Town need to get the ball boys sorted out the idea is to fetch the ball back not sit and watch the players go for it. Geoff, Outlane

Devoid of ideas. Total lack of confidence. One up front at home very poor. If the players can not play the style Mark Robins wants them to play then they should play to the team's strength until the end of the season when Mark Robins can bring players in who he thinks will make the difference. I just hope they are better signings than he as made to date ie Paterson,Stead etc. It has been very poor football this season. John, Linthwaite

That was simply one the worst home performances I have ever seen after five decades of watching Town. It was bad enough under Lee Clark but the sideways passing of free kicks on top of the decision to constantly play the ball around in our own half only allowed Ipswich time to regroup and have a rest. This has been the same now since Xmas. Something has to give. And while we are on the subject when is our goalkeeper going to stop giving the ball away and putting us under pressure. Much more needs to said about him because he has cost us too many goals and points with his reluctance to come off his line. It is a complete myth to say Smithies got us promoted because of his penalty kick. It was Bennett's steadiness and saves that got us to the final in the first place. SPH, Almondbury

Need a new goalkeeper, new back four, some bite in midfield and a fit Vaughan. Also someone who can get them to play football. Jonty Rhodes, Huddersfield

Abject - a worrying decline. Paul, Marsden

Even the politically correct BBC put our performance as "lacklustre!". It was far worse than that. I've given MR time to see how it goes with his passing game and after nearly a season I can definitely say we are going backwards not forwards. 5 games left, 7 points above the drop and not having won in 8 games says it all. We all know we need new signings in the summer, but number 1 should be a new manager! This one has had his chance, made woeful signings, tactical errors after tactical errors and definitely no plan B. The players we have aren't bad players but you have to question why they have become lacklustre and we don't see them at their best? Season ticket sale has to be a priority to move the club financially in the right direction, but who wants to pay their hard earned money to watch MR's poor effort of management? I'm afraid to say, but it's time for Dean to admit his decision of employing MR was wrong and like any good businessman put change in sooner than later. As for his replacement, personally, I'd go for Malkay Mackay. Yes it would cost us, but buy cheap, buy twice! JJ, Lowerhouses

Spineless, passionless and clueless performance. Carl Dawson, Halifax

Of the initial eleven players, not one had a good game, although I thought Lynch did his best after a long lay off. Mark Robins was keen in his post match to assure everyone he knows what to do about the situation. Seems to me we have heard that from him for many weeks and all that happens is the play gets worse. If you really do know what to do about it Mark, can I suggest you make a start now! Kev, Sowerby Bridge

Words fail me. Not a bright spark anywhere on or off the pitch with the manager looking as dispirited as the players. Will need at least 3 points to be safe and where are they coming from? Bouncing back at Derby would be great but can Robins motivate them enough? Could be a nervous Easter. Roger, Menston

Mark Robins has lost the plot, it's his fault we can't win matches playing with 1 striker. He brought in 3 strikers and has sent them all out on loan. That says a lot of his judgement. No idea on tactics, a passing game is OK in midfield and attack, but there are times when the ball has to hammered out of defence. I've renewed my season ticket but am not happy at the performances over the last few weeks or excuses from the manager. The buck stops with him. DJ, Lindley

In all my years watching Huddersfield Town, I have never seen such a abject display from so called footballers. Most of the team on display lhould never wear an Huddersfield shirt again. Trevor, Skelmanthorpe

What an absolute disgrace, how do you expect to score goals when there is only ever one player up front? Mr. Robins seems adamant that he will play the passing game, that's fine, unfortunately the players he has just don't seem capable of doing it. Every team we play has a midfield who are capable of defending and attacking with pace, ours are static in midfield passing backwards and sideways them lumping it forward to poor old N.W.on his own with 2 or 3 defenders. So please change the system to one the players can manage or we are going to be looking over our shoulders till the final game just like last season. Dec, Meltham

Persisting with the same spineless midfield (which always includes an appalling ineffective Norwood), and sticking to the terrible formation which continually leaves Wells isolated upfront on his own, has spelt disaster for weeks! Robins failed to change things until half time, despite being 2-0 down at home after 33mins! Only 2 players he had signed started against Ipswich, and despite Hogg (probably could count Bunn if you want to) being on the bench, the rest of his signings have been shipped out on loan or are not good enough for inclusion. Therefore we are utilising the same players that flirted with relegation 12months ago! I can't see any of this progression that is talked about? Tom, Kirkheaton

We are looking at 4th from bottom at best if Barnsley or Millwall gets 48 points then it could be worse, even a relegated Yeovil will beat us. A lot asking for Lillis to take over before it's too late, tough call for Deano, but he's made tough decision's before, could be MR's last game Sat if other results go against us. Robert, Dalton

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse it does! Norwood and Ward have been "abject" for weeks but are still the first names on the team sheet. If Town survive the drop - then it will be thanks to others dropping points as this squad are no longer capable of putting up a fight! Worrying times! JP, Rastrick
