HUDDERSFIELD Town threw away a 2-0 lead with just five minutes to go against Leyton Orient.

Jamie McCombe was sent off on 84 minutes and Town then conceded two goals to earn a point against the basement club.

Below are the ratings from Examiner HTAFC reporter Doug Thomson.

The fans' ratings are on page two.

IAN BENNETT
Made a couple of slips but still looked on course for a clean sheet until McCombe’s red card and Orient’s late rally. 6

CALUM WOODS
His gritty performance, spoiled only by a fourth booking of the term for pulling back Porter, was another plus for Town. 8

JACK HUNT
A top show from the blossoming right-back, who competed strongly both in defence and attack 8

JAMIE McCOMBE
Had a solid enough game, but his needless straight red card was a major blot which proved very costly. 5

ANTONY KAY
Delivered another very competent display with his organisational skills coming to the fore. 7

SCOTT ARFIELD
Was once again busy and hard working as boss Clark kept the starting XI on duty in the previous two games. 7

OSCAR GOBERN
Did a good job in the middle, breaking up Orient’s play and pushing forward when possible. Hit the bar. 7

DAMIEN JOHNSON
Went about his work with typical efficiency as Town coped well with the O’s, until those costly six minutes. 7

DANNY WARD
Tried his best to find a way through, but had limited success and came off in the 56th minute. 6

ALAN LEE
The bustling striker was strong on the ground, and even more powerful in the air, with his goal a deserved reward. 8

LEE NOVAK
His non-stop running kept the visitors on their toes, but didn’t get the chance to add to his seven-goal tally. 6

SUBSTITUTES

Gary Roberts (for Ward, 56mins) 6;

Jordan Rhodes (for Novak, 69) 6; Liam
