Huddersfield Town will visit Scunthorpe United for a friendly on Saturday, July 26.
It’s the second pre-season game confirmed for Mark Robins’ side after the home clash with Premier League Newcastle on Tuesday, August 5.
Scunthorpe have just won promotion from League II.
Their squad includes David Mirfin, but his fellow former Huddersfield Town players Michael Collins and Paul Hayes have just been released.
Manager Russ Wilcox, who took over from Brian Laws in November, set a Football League record by going unbeaten in his first 28 games at the helm.
