Kieran Lee says there’s no way Sheffield Wednesday will take their foot off the gas when they host Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The Owls are 12th in the Championship, 18 points above the drop zone but 14 behind the play-off places.

Town, who are 18th, are desperate for a three-point haul to ease their worries of being drawn into a survival scrap.

But former Oldham Athletic midfielder Lee says they will have to work hard for a win.

“We are professional enough to know there are a lot of points to play for,” said the 26-year-old.

“We know we have got to keep putting in performances for the fans who keep coming to watch us.”

While Town are seeking a first win in seven, Wednesday aim to build on their 3-2 victory at Rotherham United.
