HERE they are - your views on Huddersfield Town.

Hundreds of you completed our mid-season survey which closed in January.

In it we asked for your hits and misses of the season so far, whether it was players or performances.

Over the next few pages are the results in graph form.

Beneath each graph we'll give you quick precis of what the image means.

First up is... player of the season so far.


Top was Jordan Rhodes with 84.8% of the vote with Ian Bennett in second with 7.8%.

Jack Hunt was third with 4.1%

Disappointment of the season so far

When the survey closed in early January it was Danny Ward who fans felt had the most left to give. He was top with 36%.

Captain Peter Clarke, now out after double hernia surgery, was second with 14% and Donal McDermott, who left Town for Bournemouth on transfer deadline day, was third with 8%.


Best performance of the season so far

This category includes games up to and including Notts County on January 2.

Just under 70% of fans agreed that the Terriers' 3-0 demolition of Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in September was the best performance.

Second was the 3-0 win over Preston while the 4-4 thriller against Sheffield Wednesday with third with 8%


Worst performance

Bournemouth was the low point fans agreed, with 65.6% of respondents citing the 1-0 defeat at the Galpharm in December as the worst showing.

The FA Cup defeat at Swindon was second with 6.7% and the 2-2 draw with Notts County was third with 6.1%

Should Town strengthen in January?

A central defender was what was called for by the fans - and Sean Morrison arrived during January, no doubt to the delight of the 90% who picked that position

Players you wanted to see arrive

A very mixed bag this season, but the top three were Ben Marshall, Sean St Ledger and Alex Bruce.

Ben Marshall, who had been on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, swapped Stoke City for Leicester City.

St Ledger, who was on the transfer list at Leicester appeared to be going to Ipswich after a bid was accepted.

But the deal broke down and St Ledger is now off the list and has been involved in the first team at the Walkers Stadium.

Alex Bruce, who had been on loan at Town from Leeds United, was linked with a move to LA Galaxy, but remains at Leeds United.

Where will Huddersfield Town finish this season?

Just over 62% think it will be another spell in the play offs for Huddersfield Town while 31% think second is a reasonable aim.

Only 2% of respondents thought Town would finish top.

Can Lee Clark improve the performances?

Can Lee Clark improve performances in the second half of the season?

Two thirds of fans backed Lee Clark for an upturn in performances in the second half of the season. In January Town went five unbeaten.

Will you be buying a season ticket for next season?

Just over 40% of answers said yes for a season ticket next year, with 30% saying no and just under 30% unsure.

Just over half (52%) of fans thought Town weren't in a better position than last year while 41% thought they were. Unsure accounted for 7%.
