Huddersfield Town's Adam Hammill says he’s determined to make up for the lapse which allowed Brighton their equaliser on Friday by helping Town take maximum points from this afternoon’s showdown at Championship basement side Yeovil.

Bruno Saltor got the better of Hammill to slot the 83rd-minute goal which sealed a 1-1 draw for the play-off chasing Seagulls.

Town, who are 17th and just five points above the drop zone, took a sixth-minute lead through Ollie Norwood and Hammill said: “I was disappointed by my switch-off for their goal.

“Now I need to put it right and help make sure we get three points at Yeovil.”

Town have skipper Peter Clarke back from suspension against Gary Johnson’s Glovers, who drew 0-0 at Blackburn.

Manager Mark Robins, whose side trained at PPG Canalside yesterday before heading for Somerset, has doubts over Danny Ward and Tommy Smith because of training-ground knocks which kept them out against Brighton.

Joel Lynch completes a two-match suspension.

Johnson says his side will keep fighting to upset the odds and avoid relegation.

“I thought we played good football against Blackburn and we are still hanging on in there,” he said.
