Huddersfield Town defender Jason Davidson has again been called up by Australia for their next World Cup qualifier.

The 20-cap Socceroo played against Bangladesh and Tajikistan in the last two qualifiers and is now in coach Ange Postecoglou’s squad for the game in Jordan on Thursday, October 8.

The match – during the next international break – kicks off in Amman at 3pm UK time.

Australia sit on top of Group B with a 100% record having defeated Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh and Tajikistan in the opening three games of qualifying.

Jordan, however, are just two points behind them at the top of the group.

The winners of the group will advance to the next stage of qualifying, with the ultimate aim to reach the final 2018 World Cup tournament in Russia.
