Jonathan Hogg reckons Huddersfield Town are in good shape to mount a bid for a top-10 Championship finish.

With 15 games to go, starting with tomorrow’s big home clash with Sheffield Wednesday, Mark Robins’ men are in 13th place and chasing a third win in four.

And the midfielder said: “We’re definitely looking up the table. Birmingham is not an easy place to visit, but we went there and got the three points , and we’re all eager to push on.

“Our next three games (it’s Barnsley at home tomorrow week, then Doncaster away seven days later) will be a good test and I think we can go into them with a lot of confidence.

“We certainly want to aim for the top 10 this time, and you never know what could happen next season.”

Former Watford man Hogg said following the gameplan will pay dividends against 17th-placed Wednesday.

“Against Nottingham Forest (when Town were beaten 3-0) , we lost our shape a bit, but we went to Birmingham knowing we had to be more organised,” he said.

“We stuck to the system the manager laid down and got a great win, and there’s no reason why we can’t do that tomorrow.”

With Hogg back from injury, Robins can field his preferred midfield trio and the 25-year-old added: “Myself, Adam Clayton and Ollie Norwood have been working on rotating our positions and I thought that was effective. We’ve got a good team and we just need to believe in ourselves and go into games confident we can win."
