Huddersfield Town will face relaxed hosts when they head to Ipswich Town next Saturday.

A run of three Championship games without a win has brought some tension among fans at Portman Road.

Mick McCarthy’s side have been held to draws at home to Birmingham City and Bristol City.

And they were beaten at Blackburn Rovers last time out.

Ipswich also suffered a Capital One Cup third-round defeat at Manchester United.

Experienced midfielder Cole Skuse says the international break has been beneficial.

“A fortnight without a game can be a good thing for us,” said the former Bristol City player.

“We’ve been able to go away, think about things and how we can improve.

“We’ve analysed our own performances and the team performances of recent weeks and come back in ready to go again.

“Sometimes that little switch off from football and time with you family can help players.

“I’m sure it can have that affect on us, before we go again against Huddersfield.”

Ipswich, who won three of their first four league games after making last season’s play-offs, are 12th.

Town are six places and five points below.
