PETER CLARKE and Sean Scannell have been selected as Huddersfield Town’s ‘One Game, One Community’ ambassadors.

The pair will be out and about this week promoting football’s inclusive and multi-cultural qualities as Simon Grayson’s side prepare to host Wolves on Saturday in a game dedicated to the initiative.

Clarke explained: “Football should be available to everyone and having played in Huddersfield for the last three years I know how diverse a community it is.

“I want everyone to know what a welcoming club Huddersfield Town is and so I’m delighted to be one of our ambassadors.”

Scannell, a summer signing from Crystal Palace, said: “It’s important to try to make a difference and my family have been trying to give the kids in my home town of Croydon a chance to get involved in football by running coaching schools.

“It is so easy to find the wrong path and football can be a massively positive influence.”
