TOWN legend Andy Booth is backing strike partner Pawel Abbott to bag 20 goals plus this season.
Abbott is well on the way with five before today's Galpharm clash with Barnsley, including his first career hat trick at Port Vale last week.
Booth, with two goals this season and four career hat tricks (including three for Town against Plymouth, Chester City and Northampton) believes the Poland Under 21 cap is poised to be a big hit.
"Pav deserved his hat trick because he's worked very hard this season," said Booth.
"I thought he was a bit unlucky not to be in the team at the start because his record for us is very good, but he's showing his form now though and hopefully it will continue.
"Pav is well capable of scoring 20 goals this season and it will be great for the team if he does.
"His hat trick was superb and when you get days like that you've got to enjoy them and make the most of them. There's no reason why Pav can't get 20 goals."
Meanwhile, Joe Walsh has left the club.
The midfielder was given a 12-month contract in the summer after injury problems, but he has decided to pursue another career.
He may join Gerry Quinn's Ashton United and play part-time.
Former Town midfield man Kenny Irons has left Linfield, where he won the championship last season, and is now with Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids.
