TOWN'S big derby match-winner Gary Taylor-Fletcher vowed today: "We'll go up automatically!"
Town are third only on goal difference behind Brentford after Fletcher's 13th goal of the season sealed Saturday's 1-0 win against Yorkshire rivals Barnsley in front of 19,052 at the Galpharm.
And as Town prepare for successive away trips to Gillingham and Bournemouth, Fletch said:
"The race for automatic is wide open and, if we keep playing like we are, there's no reason why we can't do it. All the lads are buzzing and we are right in there.
"The results have gone for us again but the most important one was ours, and all credit to the lads for digging in, giving it 100% and coming away with three crucial points."
Fletch hobbled off with back and hamstring problems as Town rewarded their biggest home League gate in five years.
"I've been struggling with my back and, when I scored, I felt my hamstring tighten, which is why I had to come off," he said.
