MAKE sure your players are insured – or face the consequences.
That is the stark message that came out of the District FA’s monthly meeting at the Irish Centre last night.
It seems that some clubs are not insuring their players and the West Riding County FA are keen to make sure that they do.
And if they aren’t covered by insurance then a heavy fine could be coming their way.
The West Riding County FA are to make spot checks on individual clubs in all areas, and if your club is found wanting then the fine could be £100.
So no club can say they haven’t been warned!
In the WRCFA Minor Cup, Huddersfield have been drawn in Group 2 along with Leeds, Barkston Ash, Bradford and Harrogate.
The draws were also made for the early rounds of the Cup competitions, matches to be played on October 20 and 21, and the pairings are:
