IT’S six years since Town did battle with Barnsley, and the Football League are taking a special interest.

The League’s official betting partner Bet Butler have come up with some special wagers for the derby at Oakwell tomorrow.

How about the odds of a dog making an appearance on the pitch?

The Queen’s corgi, Pudsey of Britain’s Got Talent and Snoop Dogg can each be backed at 250/1 to make an appearance at the game.

The betting concierge service is expecting the history between the sides to produce a full-blooded affair, but is still offering a whopping 1000/1 that every player is booked tomorrow afternoon, while a sending-off in the game pays out at 11/4.

Previous history includes the infamous 7-1 drubbing dished out by Barnsley in 1998 – the last time the two sides met in the month of November – and Bet Butler go 400/1 that either side replicates that incredible scoreline.

A simpler bet, meanwhile, might be to be back four or more goals (9/4) or both teams to hit the net more than once (11/2).
