PETER JACKSON is banking on homegrown talent tomorrow to deliver the goods for Town.

As many as EIGHT club- produced players could start against Blackpool, with others on the bench at the Galpharm (3.00).

And, with Town desperately needing a win to steer clear of a potential relegation battle, Jackson has "complete faith" in his young guns to hit the three-point target.

"We look like having a very, very young side and we need every one of our supporters right behind them tomorrow," said Jackson, who will start John McAliskey alongside loan man Luke Beckett up front.

"Six or seven of the lads will be 21 and under, which is a lot in one team at this level, and they are lads who, just like the fans, love Town.

"It's a big game for us, one we really need to win, and I've got complete faith in our young players to meet the challenge.

"Support is vital, though. It was brilliant against Luton in our last home game and we need everyone to vocally rally round again."

While Beckett has scored in his last three appearances against Blackpool and in his two previous home starts for Town, McAliskey is determined to do well.

"Macca has been itching for a chance and if he produces the form now which he showed at the end of last season we'll all be happy," said Jackson, who hands a home debut to Tom Clarke in defence.

Efe Sodje is recalled to the squad after suspension while Blackpool, who are looking for a fourth straight win and clean sheet, are expected to have striker John Murphy back.

Rob Edwards is doubtful, so Anthony Lloyd is standing by, but David Mirfin is expected to be fit.

Transfer-listed Lee Fowler is left out of the squad.
